In the context of the ISSCT 2025, we had the opportunity to talk with professionals in the sugarcane sector who use our platform in their day-to-day activities. On this occasion, we particularly want to thank engineer Hugo Cavalcanti for his participation in this video and for sharing his experience with Nax Solutions.

Supporting 55 thousand hectares since 2018

Hugo recalled how, in 2018, he was responsible for more than 55 thousand hectares of sugarcane. In that context, the challenge was enormous: managing different producers and operations that often could be quite chaotic.

With the support of the Nax platform, he was able to organize his work better, address various needs, and leave a legacy in the unit where he worked.

The most notable benefits

In his testimony, Hugo particularly highlighted how Nax allowed him to:

• Monitor the water needs of the crops.

• Support the development of the sugarcane field.

• Plan the maturation of the cane, key to organizing the harvest.

Thanks to the tracking of indicators such as chlorophyll and leaf water, he was able to define more precisely which varieties should be harvested first.
